The smoking cessation laser therapy is one of the many methods to stop the bad habit of smoking. Each and every person knows that smoking is the biggest health hazard. If you calculate the amount of money spent in cigarettes, it is much higher than the cost of quit smoking treatments. Nowadays, smoking is unaccepted by the society and therefore many no smoking zones are declared by the government. In spite of all this, the smokers are unable to give up smoking as it is a very difficult thing to cope up with.

When the decision has been made, it is always beneficial to know about the symptoms that are associated with the decision. In this case, you are mentally equipped to handle any problems that can crop up. In fact, it is always advisable to be aware of the facts so that we can think of any counteractive techniques.

The main question that arises in each persons mind is whether the smoking cessation laser therapy actually advantageous or not. Many people find the treatment good and many smokers have been able to manage the smoking cessation through this method. The only main difficulty is that this therapy does not give evidence whether the therapy is successful or not. Basically, there is no medical proof for it. Many organizations consider this as a fraud to the people and that is the main reason why most of the people are not ready to go for the laser therapy to stop smoking. There was a petition filed to discontinue 5 companies who were promoting the smoking cessation laser therapy. After this, the FDA has ordered cessation of this therapy for these 5 companies. According to the FDA, there is only a momentary relief provided to the smokers.

A case was filed against five companies that they were making tall claims about the laser therapy. On this, the FDA has ordered these companies to discontinue the marketing for this therapy. The reason for discontinuation is given by the FDA who has stated that the relief is only momentary in nature and does not work in the long run at all. These companies are just not bothered whether the laser therapy has been proved successful or not. Again, the reviews are not done so no one knows whether the laser is a winner or a loser. Since there is no proof of anything, all you can do is take the risk and try out the smoking cessation laser therapy and see whether it is effective or ineffective.

In case if you have some kind of severe health conditions like cancer, pregnancy, sclerosis, pace maker, epilepsy, implanted defibrillator, muscular dystrophy, etc. then the laser therapy isn’t advised. In such cases, the quit smoking timeline is recommended.

Nothing can be gained, without giving in more. Same is the case in here. The advantages of leaving smoking are forever and can be visible in the way the body responds to a nicotine free atmosphere.
